Component Inspection

CHECK TAIL LAMP 1

Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect each rear combination lamp connector.

Check continuity between each rear combination lamp terminals.

Body side
Rear combination lamp (body side)		Continuity
Terminals		Continuity
2	4	Yes

Trunk lid side
Rear combination lamp (trunk lid side)		Continuity
Terminals		Continuity
1	4	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO >>

Rear combination lamp (body side): Replace corresponding rear combination lamp (body side) bulb. Refer to Bulb Replacement.

NO >>

Rear combination lamp (trunk lid side): Replace corresponding rear combination lamp (trunk lid side) bulb. Refer to Removal and Installation.

CHECK TAIL LAMP 2

Remove tail lamp bulb.

Check continuity between each rear combination lamp terminals.

Body side
Rear combination lamp (body side)		Continuity

Trunk lid side
Rear combination lamp (trunk lid side)		Continuity
Terminals		Continuity
1	4	No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

Inspection End.

NO >>

Repair or replace each rear combination lamp bulb socket or harness.
