CHECK TRIP RESET SWITCH SIGNAL

Ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between the following terminals of the trip reset switch harness connector.

Trip reset switch			Condition	Voltage (Approx.)

M138	1	2	When trip reset switch is pressed	0 V
M138	1	2	Other than the above	5 V

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

Inspection End.

NO >>

GO TO 2.

CHECK TRIP RESET SWITCH HARNESS

Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect combination meter harness connector and trip reset switch harness connector.

Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and trip reset switch harness connector.

Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

Inspection End.

NO >>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

Disconnect trip reset switch harness connector.

Check continuity between the following terminals of the trip reset switch:

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

Inspection End.

NO >>

Replace trip reset switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
