Component Inspection

Component Inspection

  1. CHECK STOP LAMP 1

      1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect rear combination lamp (body side) connector and high-mounted stop lamp connector.

      3. Check continuity between each stop lamp terminal.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 2.

    NO >>

    Rear combination lamp (body side): Replace corresponding rear combination lamp (body side) bulb. Refer to Bulb Replacement.

    NO >>

    High-mounted stop lamp: Replace high-mounted stop lamp. Refer to Removal and Installation.

  2. CHECK STOP LAMP 2

      1. Remove stop lamp bulb.

      2. Check continuity between rear combination lamp (body side) terminals.

    Repair or replace rear combination lamp (body side) bulb socket or harness.
