Diagnosis condition |
Diagnosis is permitted when all of the following conditions are satisfied: a) Ignition voltage ≥ 9.01 V b) Battery voltage ≥ 9.01 V c) After ignition on, 1 sec has elapsed. d) Target electric oil pump speed ≥ 500 rpm e) Electric oil pump motor temperature ≤ 179 °C (354 °F) |

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PREPARATION BEFORE WORK
If another "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" occurs just before, ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds, then perform the next test.
TESTING CONDITION:
Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is more than 10 V.
>>GO TO 2.

CHECK DTC DETECTION

Ignition switch ON and wait for at 20 seconds.
-
Check the DTC.
Is "P28ED-00" detected?
YES >>Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

REPLACE ELECTRIC OIL PUMP
Replace electric oil pump. Refer to Removal and Installation.
