DTC DETECTION LOGIC

*: For DTCs that the CVT system warning displays, refer to DTC Index.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Narrow DTC* down from related to the CVT system warning.

FAIL-SAFE

Not changed from normal driving

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

When TCM detects DTC related to the CVT system warning, DTC P187E-09 is set up. When DTC P187E-09 is detected, check the other DTC detected at the same time. Refer to DTC Description.

Dtc Diagnosis Procedure

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY

   With CONSULT

   1. Perform “Self Diagnostic Results” in “TRANSMISSION”.

   2. Check the DTC whether it is related to the CVT system warning. Refer to DTC Index.

   Is applicable DTC detected?

   YES >>

   Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC Index.

   NO >>

   GO TO 2.

2. CHECK DTC DETECTION

   With CONSULT

   1. Start the engine.

   2. Select “Data Monitor” in “TRANSMISSION”.

   3. Select “T/M warning indicator DTC”.

   4. Confirm that detected DTC.

   Is any DTC detected?

   YES >>

   Review the detected DTC in the past which was displayed in the "Data Monitor". Refer to DTC Index.

   NO >>

   INSPECTION END
