Nissan Sentra B18 (2020-2025) Owner's Manual: Windshield wiper blades
Cleaning
If the windshield of your Nissan Sentra is not clear after using the windshield washer, or if a wiper blade chatters during operation, wax or other residue may be present on the blade or glass surface.
Clean the outside of the windshield using windshield washer fluid or a mild detergent. The glass is considered clean if water does not bead when rinsed with clear water.
Clean each wiper blade by wiping it with a cloth soaked in washer fluid or a mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
If visibility does not improve after cleaning, replace the windshield wiper blades.
CAUTION
Worn or damaged windshield wiper blades can scratch the windshield and significantly impair driver visibility.
Replacing

Replace windshield wiper blades when they show signs of wear, streaking, or reduced wiping performance.
To replace the windshield wiper blades, follow the steps below:
1. Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield.
2. Push the release tab B.
3. Slide the wiper blade A downward and remove it from the arm.
4. Insert the new wiper blade onto the wiper arm until it clicks securely into place.
5. Carefully lower the wiper arm back onto the windshield.
CAUTION
- After replacing the wiper blades, return the wiper arms to their normal position. Failure to do so may result in damage when opening the hood.
- Ensure the wiper blades are properly seated against the glass to prevent damage from wind pressure while driving.

If you wax the hood surface, take care to prevent wax from entering the windshield washer nozzle D, as this may cause clogging or improper washer operation. If wax enters the nozzle, carefully remove it using a small pin or needle C.
