AUDIO SYSTEM
The audio system consists of the following components:
AV control unit
Front tweeters
Front door speakers
Rear speakers
Steering switches
Microphone
Front auxiliary input jacks
Front auxiliary input jacks control unit
Combination switch (spiral cable)
Combination meter
Window antenna (AM/FM antenna)
Antenna amp.
Satellite antenna
When the audio system is on, AM/FM signals received by the window antenna are sent to the antenna amp., amplified and sent to the AV control unit. The AV control unit then sends audio signals to the front tweeters, front door speakers and rear speakers.

HANDS-FREE PHONE SYSTEM
Bluetooth® control is built into AV control unit.
The connection between cellular phone and AV control unit is performed with Bluetooth® communication.
The voice guidance signal is input from the AV control unit and output to the front door speakers when operating the cellular phone.
When A Call Is Originated
When AV control unit receives the microphone signal from microphone, it transmits the sound signal to a cell phone via Bluetooth® communication (without telematics system).
When AV control unit receives the microphone signal from microphone via TCU, it transmits the sound signal to a cell phone via Bluetooth® communication (with telematics system).
Voice sound is then heard at the other party.
When Receiving A Call
Voice sound is input to own cellular phone from the other party.
TEL voice signal is input to AV control unit by establishing Bluetooth® communication from cellular phone, and the signal is output to front door speakers.
FRONT AUXILIARY INPUT JACKS
Sound and data signals are transmitted from USB interfaces to the front auxiliary input jacks control unit.
Front auxiliary input jacks control unit transmits sound and data signals to the AV control unit.
Sound signals are transmitted from AUX jack to the AV control unit.
The AV control unit outputs the sound signals to each speaker.
SPEED SENSITIVE VOLUME SYSTEM
Volume level of this system goes up and down automatically in proportion to the Nissan Sentra vehicle speed. The control level can be selected by the customer. Refer to Owner's Manual for operating instructions.
