Nissan Sentra B18 (2020-2025) Owner's Manual: Steering wheel
WARNING
- Do not adjust the steering wheel while driving. Doing so may cause you to lose control of your Nissan Sentra and could result in an accident.
- Do not position the steering wheel closer to you than necessary for proper steering control and driving comfort.
The driver’s air bag deploys with significant force. If you are unrestrained, leaning forward, sitting sideways, or otherwise out of position, the risk of serious injury or death increases in a collision. Severe or fatal injuries may also occur if you are too close to the air bag when it inflates. Always sit upright against the seatback, keep as much distance as practical from the steering wheel, and always wear your seat belt while driving the Nissan Sentra.
Tilt operation

Pull the lock lever down 1 and move the steering wheel up or down 2 until the desired position is reached.
Once adjusted, push the lock lever up 1 firmly to securely lock the steering wheel in place.
Telescopic operation
Pull the lock lever down 1 and adjust the steering wheel forward or backward 3 to suit your driving position.
After adjustment, push the lock lever up 1 firmly to lock the steering wheel securely before driving your Nissan Sentra.
