Diagnosis Procedure

1. CHECK STEERING SWITCH SIGNAL A CIRCUIT

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect combination meter harness connector and combination switch (spiral cable) harness connector.

      3. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and combination switch (spiral cable) harness connector.

      4. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and ground.

         Combination meter		—	Continuity

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES>>

   Inspection End.

   NO>>

   Repair or replace harness or connector.

1. CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE

   1. Check resistance between the following steering switch terminals:

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 2.

   NO >>

   Replace steering switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.

2. CHECK SPIRAL CABLE

   1. Check continuity between the following combination switch (spiral cable) terminals:

      25	11

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES>>

   Inspection End.

   NO>>

   Replace spiral cable. Refer to Removal and Installation.
