Diagnosis Procedure

Transmits the washer level switch signal to the combination meter.

1. CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect combination meter harness connector and washer fluid level switch harness connector.

      3. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and washer fluid level switch harness connector.

         Combination meter		Washer fluid level switch		Continuity
         Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
         M24	15	E65	1	Yes

      4. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and ground.

         Combination meter		—	Continuity
         Connector	Terminal
         M24	15	Ground	No

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES>>

   GO TO 2.

   NO>>

   Repair or replace harness or connector.

2. CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT

   1. Check continuity between washer fluid level switch harness connector and ground.

      Washer fluid level switch		—	Continuity
      Connector	Terminal
      E65	2	Ground	Yes

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES>>

   Inspection End.

   NO>>

   Repair or replace harness or connector.

1. CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL SWITCH

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect washer fluid level switch connector.

      3. Check washer fluid level switch.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   Inspection End.

   NO >>

   Replace washer fluid level switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
