Nissan Sentra B18 (2020-2025) Owner's Manual: Spark plugs

Replacing spark plugs
WARNING
Make sure the engine and ignition switch are OFF and the parking brake is securely applied before replacing spark plugs.
CAUTION
Always use the correct spark plug socket when removing spark plugs. Using an incorrect socket may damage the spark plugs or cylinder head.
Iridium-tipped spark plugs
Iridium-tipped spark plugs installed in the Nissan Sentra do not require replacement as frequently as conventional spark plugs due to their longer service life. Follow the maintenance schedule outlined in the "Maintenance and schedules" section of this manual.
Do not clean or regap iridium or platinum-tipped spark plugs, as doing so may damage the electrodes and reduce performance.
- Always replace spark plugs with the recommended type or approved equivalent specified for Nissan Sentra models.
If spark plug replacement is required, it is recommended that the service be performed by a NISSAN dealer to ensure correct installation and torque specifications.
