Diagnosis Procedure

1. CHECK FUSE

   1. Check that the following fuse is not blown:

      Signal name	Fuse No.	Capacity
      Ignition power supply	49	10 A

   Is the fuse blown?

   YES >>

   Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

   NO >>

   GO TO 2.

2. CHECK FUSIBLE LINK

   1. Check that the following fusible link is not blown:

      Signal name	Fusible link No.	Capacity
      Battery	H	80 A

   Is the fusible link blown?

   YES >>

   Replace the blown fusible link after repairing the affected circuit.

   NO >>

   GO TO 3.

3. POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT CHECK

   1. 1. Disconnect EPS control unit connector.

      2. Check voltage between EPS control unit harness connector and ground.

      EPS control unit
      Connector	Terminal		OFF	ON	START
      E74	7	Ground	Battery voltage	Battery voltage	Battery voltage
      E73	4		0 V	Battery voltage	Battery voltage

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 4.

   NO >>

   Repair or replace harness or connector.

4. GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Check continuity between EPS control unit harness connector and ground.

      EPS control unit		—	Continuity
      Connector	Terminal
      E74	8	Ground	Yes

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   Inspection End.

   NO >>

   Repair or replace harness or connectors.
