ILLUMINATION CONTROL

The BCM detects the combination switch (lighting and turn signal switch) condition by the combination switch reading function.

The BCM transmits the position light request signal to the combination meter according to the tail lamp ON condition. Refer to System Description (halogen headlamp) or System Description (LED headlamp).

The combination meter enters nighttime mode according to the position light request signal and provides the power supply to each illuminated component.

The combination meter controls the brightness of each illuminated component according to the illumination control switch signal from the illumination control switch.
