Sonar Control Unit

Sonar control unit is installed behind the luggage side lower finisher (LH).

Sonar control unit outputs a buzzer signal for audible alert.

On Nissan Sentra vehicles with rear view monitor system with camera assisted sonar, sonar sensor signals are received by the sonar control unit and transmitted to the AV control unit and combination meter via CAN communication.

On Nissan Sentra vehicles with Intelligent around view monitor system with camera assisted sonar, sonar sensor signals are received by the sonar control unit and transmitted to the around view monitor control unit and combination meter via CAN communication.
Sonar Sensor

The sonar sensors are installed in the rear bumper fascias.

When a distance from an obstacle is detected, a signal is transmitted to the sonar control unit.
Sonar Buzzer

The sonar buzzer is located behind the instrument lower panel LH.

The sonar buzzer sounds with the signal from the sonar control unit.

1.SYMPTOM CHECK
Check if the vehicle jerks during VDC/TCS/ABS control.
