  • TSR

  • BSW

Confirmation Procedure

Confirmation Procedure

  1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

    1. Start the engine.

    2. Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.

    3. Check if the “C1F00-49” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “ICC/ADAS 2”.

    Is “C1F00-49” detected as the current malfunction?

    YES >>

    Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

    NO-1 >>

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

    NO-2 >>

    Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK STEERING VIBRATION MOTOR CIRCUIT

    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.

    2. Select the active test item “Vibration motor” of “ICC/ADAS 2” with CONSULT.

    3. With operating the test item, check the operation.

      On

      : Steering vibration motor is activated.

      Off

      : Steering vibration motor is not activated.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    INSPECTION END

    NO >>

    GO TO 2 .

  2. CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN SPIRAL CABLE AND ADAS CONTROL UNIT 2

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

    2. Disconnect the spiral cable connector.

    3. Disconnect the ADAS control unit 2 connector.

    4. Check continuity between the spiral cable harness connector and ADAS control unit 2 harness connector.

    5. Check continuity between the spiral cable harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    GO TO 3 .

    NO >>

    Repair the harnesses or connectors.

  3. CHECK SPIRAL CABLE

    Check for continuity between the spiral cable terminals.

    YES >>

    GO TO 4 .

    NO >>

    Replace spiral cable.

  4. CHECK STEERING VIBRATION MOTOR SIGNAL

    1. Connect the all connectors.

    2. Turn ignition switch ON.

    3. Select the active test of “ICC/ADAS 2” with CONSULT.

    4. Check voltage between the ADAS control unit 2 harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    Replace the steering vibration motor. Refer to Removal and Installation.

    NO >>

    GO TO 5 .

  5. CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS

    Check if any DTC other than “C1F00-49” is detected in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “ICC/ADAS 2”.

    Is any DTC detected?

    YES >>

    Perform diagnosis on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. DTC Index

    NO >>

    Replace the ADAS control unit 2. Removal and Installation
