REMOVAL
Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to Battery Disconnect.
Remove intake manifold. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Partially remove front fender protector (RH). Refer to Exploded View — Front Fender Protector.
Remove drive belt. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Disconnect harness connector from generator.
Remove “B" terminal nut and harness.
Remove generator bolts and generator from Nissan Sentra vehicle.
INSTALLATION
Install
generator using the following procedure: Temporarily tighten bolts in the
reverse sequence shown. Torque bolts to specification in the
sequence shown.

:25.0 N·m (2.6 kg-m, 18 ft-lb) |
Installation of remaining components is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
Tighten "B" terminal nut carefully and to specification. Refer to Exploded View.
