Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove shift selector finisher using the following steps:

  • Remove the CVT shift selector knob. Refer to Removal & Installation.

  • Using a suitable tool, release clips and pawls.

    : Pawl

    : Metal clip

  • Disconnect harness connectors and remove the shift selector finisher (1).

  • M/T shift selector knob:

    • Using suitable tool (A), remove shift knob finisher (1).

    • Remove shift knob (1) as shown.

    • Using a suitable tool, release clips of shift selector finisher (1).

      : Metal clip

Remove shift selector finisher.

Using a suitable tool release pawls and remove push-button ignition switch (1) from shift selector finisher (2).

CVT shown; M/T similar

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL

The NATS antenna amp. is serviced with the push-button ignition switch. For removal and installation, refer to Removal and Installation.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Note:

  • If NATS antenna amp. is not installed correctly, NVIS (NATS) system will not operate properly and "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" on CONSULT screen will show "LOCK MODE" or "CHAIN OF IMMU-KEY".

  • Initialization is not necessary when only the NATS antenna amp. is replaced with a new one.
