Nissan Sentra B18 (2020-2025) Owner's Manual: Rear window and outside mirror defroster switch
To defrost the rear window glass and the outside mirrors (if so equipped), start the engine and press the rear window defroster switch. The indicator light on the switch will illuminate while the system is active. Press the switch again to turn the defroster off.
The rear window defroster on the Nissan Sentra automatically turns off after approximately 15 minutes to help conserve electrical power.
CAUTION
- Always use the rear window defroster with the engine running to avoid unnecessary battery discharge.
- When cleaning the inside surface of the rear window, take care not to scratch or damage the rear window defroster grid.
