Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove trunk lid finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove rear air spoiler nuts. Refer to Exploded View.

Insert suitable tool between trunk lid and rear air spoiler and carefully lift rear air spoiler to access double-sided tape. Refer to Exploded View.

CAUTION:

• Use suitable tools made of material that will not damage parts.

• Do not lift rear air spoiler with excessive force that may damage parts.

Insert suitable tool under rear air spoiler and release double-sided tape. Refer to Exploded View.

Remove rear air spoiler.

INSTALLATION

Remove trunk lid finisher (if necessary). Refer to Removal and Installation.

For new installation, install rear air spoiler drill template on trunk lid and drill rear air spoiler mounting holes. Note:

Be careful to follow all directions provided with drill template.

Install rear air spoiler, and nuts, to trunk lid. Tighten nuts to specification. Refer to Exploded View.

CAUTION:

• Before installing rear air spoiler, clean trunk lid mounting surface with isopropyl alcohol or equivalent.

• Replace double-sided tape if rear air spoiler is reused.

• Do not wash or expose Nissan Sentra vehicle to a wet environment within 24 hours of installation.

For new installation, replace trunk lid torsion bar (LH/RH). Refer to Removal and Installation.

Install trunk lid finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.
