DTC DETECTION LOGIC

DTC		CONSULT screen terms (Trouble diagnosis content)	DTC detection condition
P27A4	00	EL/AUX T/M FLUID PUMP B (Electric/Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump "B" Performance/Stuck Off)	Diagnosis condition	Diagnosis is permitted when all of the following conditions are satisfied: a) Ignition voltage ≥ 9.01 V b) Battery voltage ≥ 9.01 V c) After ignition on, 1 sec has elapsed. d) Target electric oil pump speed ≥ 500 rpm
			Signal	—
			Threshold	DTC is detected when one of the following conditions "a" and "b" are satisfied: a) Electric oil pump speed ≥ 500 rpm b) Electric oil pump current < 7 A
			Diagnosis delay time	2 seconds

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Electric oil pump
Control valve

FAIL-SAFE

Stop/start system prohibited

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

PREPARATION BEFORE WORK

If another "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" occurs just before, ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds, then perform the next test.

TESTING CONDITION:

Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is more than 10 V.

GO TO 2.
CHECK DTC DETECTION
1. Ignition switch ON and wait for at 20 seconds.
2. Check the DTC.
Is "P27A4-00" detected?
YES >>
Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>
Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure

REPLACE ELECTRIC OIL PUMP

Replace electric oil pump. Refer to Removal and Installation.

GO TO 2.
CHECK DTC DETECTION

Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to DTC Description.

Is "P27A4-00" detected again?
YES>>
Replace control valve. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO >>
INSPECTION END
