Confirmation Procedure

PRECONDITIONING

If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test.
1. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
  
  TESTING CONDITION:
  
  Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is between 11 V or more with ignition switch.

GO TO 2.
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 1 second.
2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
3. Repeat step 1 and 2 for 10 times.
4. Erase DTC
5. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10seconds
6. Turn ignition switch ON
7. Check the DTC.
Is 1st trip DTC detected?
YES >>
INSPECTION END
NO >>
Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

INSPECTION START
1. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 1 second.
2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
3. Repeat step 1 and 2 for 10 times.
4. Erase DTC.
5. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
6. Turn ignition switch ON.
7. Check the DTC.
Is DTC erased?
YES >>
INSPECTION END.
NO >>
GO TO 2.
REPLACE ECM
1. Replace ECM. Refer to ECM : Removal & Installation.
2. Refer to Work Procedure.
