1. CHECK MAGNET CLUTCH OPERATION

   1. Perform auto active test of IPDM E/R. Refer to CONSULT Function (IPDM E/R).

   Does it operate normally?

   YES >>

   Inspection End.

   NO >>

   Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

1. CHECK MAGNET CLUTCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

   1. 1. Disconnect A/C compressor connector and IPDM E/R connector.

      2. Check continuity between A/C compressor harness connector and IPDM E/R harness connector.

         A/C compressor		IPDM E/R		Continuity
         Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
         F4	1	F96	65	Yes

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES>>

   GO TO 2.

   NO>>

   Repair harness or connector.

2. CHECK MAGNET CLUTCH GROUND CIRCUIT

   1. Check continuity between A/C compressor harness connector and ground.

      A/C compressor		–	Continuity
      Connector	Terminal
      F4	2	Ground	Yes

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 3.

   NO >>

   Repair harness or connector.

3. CHECK MAGNET CLUTCH

   1. Directly apply battery voltage to the magnet clutch. Check operation visually and by sound.

   Does it operate normally?

   YES >>

   Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation.

   NO >>

   Replace magnet clutch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
