1. CHECK FUNCTION

   1. CONSULT

      1. Select "OUTSIDE BUZZER" in "Active Test" mode of "HANDS FREE MODULE".

      2. Select “On” or “Off” to check that it works normally.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES>>

   Intelligent Key warning buzzer is OK.

   NO>>

   Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Diagnosis Procedure

1. CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY WARNING BUZZER CIRCUIT

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect Intelligent Key unit connector and Intelligent Key warning buzzer connector.

      3. Check continuity between Intelligent Key unit harness connector and Intelligent Key warning buzzer harness connector.

         M155	3	E70	1	Yes

      4. Check continuity between Intelligent Key unit harness connector and ground.

         Intelligent Key unit		—	Continuity

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 2.

   NO >>

   Repair or replace harness.

2. CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY WARNING BUZZER

   1. Refer to Component Inspection.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   Replace Intelligent Key unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

   NO >>

   Replace Intelligent Key warning buzzer. Refer to Removal and Installation.

1. CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY WARNING BUZZER

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect Intelligent Key warning buzzer connector.

      3. Connect battery power supply directly to Intelligent Key warning buzzer terminals and check the operation.

   Inspection End.

   NO>>

   Replace Intelligent Key warning buzzer. Refer to Removal and Installation.
