1. CHECK HEATED STEERING WHEEL RELAY

   1. Check that heated steering wheel heater warms to the preset temperature when operating the heated steering wheel switch.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   Inspection End.

   NO >>

   Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

1. CHECK FUSE

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Check that any of the following fuses are not blown (open):

         Signal name	Fuse No.	Capacity
         Ignition power supply	6	10 A
         	44	10 A

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 2.

   NO >>

   Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

2. CHECK HEATED STEERING WHEEL RELAY POWER SUPPLY

   1. 1. Disconnect heated steering wheel relay connector.

      2. Ignition switch ON.

      3. Check voltage between heated steering wheel relay harness connector and ground.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 3.

   NO >>

   Repair or replace harness.

3. CHECK HEATED STEERING WHEEL RELAY CONTROL SIGNAL CIRCUIT

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect A/C auto amp. connector.

      3. Check continuity between heated steering wheel relay harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.

         Heated steering wheel relay		A/C auto amp.		Continuity
         Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
         M75	2	M34	56	Yes

      4. Check continuity between A/C auto amp. harness connector and ground.

         A/C auto amp.		–	Continuity
         Connector	Terminal
         M34	56	Ground	No

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 4.

   NO >>

   Repair or replace harness.

4. CHECK HEATED STEERING WHEEL RELAY

   1. Check heated steering wheel relay.

      Refer to Component Inspection.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   Inspection End.

   NO >>

   Replace heated steering wheel relay.

1. CHECK HEATED STEERING WHEEL RELAY CONTINUITY

   1. Check continuity between heated steering wheel relay terminals.

      CAUTION:

      • Connect the fuse between the terminals when applying the voltage.

      • To prevent damage, always observe the correct polarity.

      • Prevent short-circuit.

   YES >>

   Inspection End.

   NO >>
