Diagnosis Procedure

1. CHECK FUSE

   1. Check that the following fuse is not blown:

      Terminal No.	Signal name	Fuse No.	Capacity
      19	Battery power supply	40	20 A

   Is the fuse blown?

   YES >>

   Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

   NO >>

   GO TO 2.

2. CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect AV control unit connector.

      3. Check voltage between AV control unit connector and ground.

         AV control unit		—	Condition	Voltage (Approx.)
         Connector	Terminal
         M92	19	Ground	Ignition switch: OFF	Battery voltage

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 3.

   NO >>

   Repair or replace harness or connectors.

3. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

   1. 1. Disconnect AV control unit connector.

      2. Check continuity between AV control unit connector and ground.

         AV control unit		—	Continuity

         M92	20	Ground	Yes
         M93	29

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES>>

   Inspection End.

   NO>>

   Repair or replace harness or connectors.

Rear View Camera Image Signal Circuit

Diagnosis Procedure

1. CHECK CAMERA POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect AV control unit connector and rear view camera connector.

      3. Check continuity between AV control unit connector and rear view camera connector.

         AV control unit		Rear view camera		Continuity
         Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
         M93	39	B30	1	Yes

      4. Check continuity between AV control unit connector and ground.

         AV control unit		—	Continuity
         Connector	Terminal
         M93	39	Ground	No

   Is inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 2.

   NO >>

   Repair or replace harness or connectors.

2. CHECK CAMERA POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE

   1. 1. Connect AV control unit connector and rear view camera connector.

      2. Ignition switch ON.

      3. Shift the selector lever to R (reverse).

      4. Check voltage between AV control unit connector and ground.

         AV control unit		(−)	Condition	Voltage (Approx.)
         (+)
         Connector	Terminal
         M93	39	Ground	Selector lever is in “R”.	6.0 V

   Is inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 3.

   NO >>

   Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

3. CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect AV control unit connector and rear view camera connector.

      3. Check continuity between AV control unit connector and rear view camera connector.

         AV control unit		Rear view camera		Continuity
         Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
         M93	40	B30	3	Yes

      4. Check continuity between AV control unit connector and ground.

         AV control unit		—	Continuity
         Connector	Terminal
         M93	40	Ground	No

   Is inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 4.

   NO >>

   Repair or replace harness or connectors.

4. CHECK CAMERA GROUND CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

   1. Check continuity between AV control unit connector and rear view camera connector.

      AV control unit		Rear view camera		Continuity

      M93	59	B30	2	Yes

   Is inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   GO TO 5.

   NO >>

   Repair or replace harness or connectors.

5. CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL

   1. 1. Connect AV control unit connector and rear view camera connector.

      2. Ignition switch ON.

      3. Shift the selector lever to R (reverse).

      4. Check signal between AV control unit connector and ground.

   Is inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

   NO >>

   Replace rear view camera. Refer to Removal and Installation.
