Component Function Check
  1. CHECK FUNCTION

    1. CONSULT

      1. Ignition switch ON.

      2. Select “INTELLIGENT KEY” mode of “BCM”.

      3. Select “Clutch end SW”, “Clutch start SW” in “Data Monitor” mode.

      4. Check that the function operates normally according to the following conditions.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    Clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) is OK.

    NO >>

    Refer to: Diagnosis Procedure.

Diagnosis Procedure
  1. CHECK CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER (CLUTCH SWITCH) POWER SUPPLY

      1. Disconnect clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) connector.

      2. Ignition switch ON.

      3. Check voltage between clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) harness connector and ground.

        Battery voltage

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    GO TO 2.

    NO >>

    Repair or replace harness.

  2. CHECK CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER (CLUTCH SWITCH) GROUND CIRCUIT

    1. Check continuity between clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    GO TO 3.

    NO >>

    Repair or replace harness.

  3. CHECK CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER (CLUTCH SWITCH) START CIRCUIT

      1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect BCM connector.

      3. Check continuity between clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) harness connector and BCM harness connector.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    GO TO 4.

    NO >>

    Repair or replace harness.

  4. CHECK CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER (CLUTCH SWITCH) END CIRCUIT

      1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect BCM connector.

      3. Check continuity between clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) harness connector and BCM harness connector.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    GO TO 5.

    NO >>

    Replace clutch master cylinder (clutch switch). Refer to Removal and Installation.

  5. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

    1. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

    YES >>

    Inspection End.
