CHECK FUNCTION

CONSULT

Ignition switch ON.
Select “INTELLIGENT KEY” mode of “BCM”.
Select “Clutch end SW”, “Clutch start SW” in “Data Monitor” mode.
Check that the function operates normally according to the following conditions.

Clutch end SW	Clutch pedal	RELEASED	Off
Clutch end SW		DEPRESSED	On
Clutch start SW		RELEASED	Off
Clutch start SW		DEPRESSED	On

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

Clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) is OK.

NO >>

CHECK CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER (CLUTCH SWITCH) POWER SUPPLY

Disconnect clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) connector.
Ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

GO TO 2.

NO >>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER (CLUTCH SWITCH) GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) harness connector and ground.

Clutch master cylinder (clutch switch)		—	Continuity

E32	7	Ground	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

GO TO 3.

NO >>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER (CLUTCH SWITCH) START CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BCM connector.

Check continuity between clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) harness connector and BCM harness connector.

Clutch master cylinder (clutch switch)		BCM		Continuity

E32	5	M142	113	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

GO TO 4.

NO >>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER (CLUTCH SWITCH) END CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BCM connector.

Check continuity between clutch master cylinder (clutch switch) harness connector and BCM harness connector.

E32	6	M142	112	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

GO TO 5.

NO >>

Replace clutch master cylinder (clutch switch). Refer to Removal and Installation.

1. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
YES >>
