Nissan Sentra B18 (2020-2025) Owner's Manual: Brake and clutch fluid
WARNING
- Use only new brake or clutch fluid from a sealed container.
- Old, inferior, or contaminated fluid may damage the brake and clutch (if so equipped) systems. Using improper fluids can reduce braking performance and compromise vehicle safety.
- Always clean the filler cap area before removing the cap.
- Brake and clutch fluid is toxic and should be stored in clearly marked containers out of the reach of children.
CAUTION
Do not spill brake or clutch fluid on painted surfaces.
Brake and clutch fluid can damage paint. If fluid is spilled, immediately rinse the affected area with water.
Brake fluid

Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If the level is below the MIN line 1, or if the brake warning light illuminates, add Genuine NISSAN Brake Fluid or equivalent DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid up to the MAX line 2.
If brake fluid must be added frequently, the braking system should be inspected. It is recommended that you visit a NISSAN dealer for professional service.
Clutch fluid

Check the clutch fluid level in the reservoir. If the fluid is below the CL (clutch) MIN line 2, add Genuine NISSAN Brake Fluid or equivalent DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid up to the MAX line 1.
If clutch fluid requires frequent replenishment, the clutch system should be checked. It is recommended that you visit a NISSAN dealer for this service.
