Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CONNECTOR CHECK

    1. Check the AV control unit and Bose speaker amp. connectors for the following:

      • Proper connection

      • Damage

      • Disconnected or loose terminals

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    GO TO 2.

    NO >>

    Repair the terminals or connectors.

  2. CHECK SOUND SIGNAL FRONT LH CONTINUITY

      1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect Bose speaker amp. connector and AV control unit connector.

      3. Check continuity between Bose speaker amp. connector and AV control unit connector.

      4. Check continuity between Bose speaker amp. connector and ground.

    YES >>

    GO TO 3.

    NO >>

    Repair or replace harness or connectors.

  3. CHECK SOUND SIGNAL FRONT LH SIGNAL

      1. Connect Bose speaker amp. connector and AV control unit connector.

      2. Ignition switch ON.

      3. AV control unit ON.

      4. Check signal between AV control unit connector and ground.

    Replace Bose speaker amp. Refer to Removal and Installation.
