Main Power Window and Door Lock/unlock Switch

Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK FUSE

      1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Check that any of the following fuses are not blown (open):

        Signal name

        Fuse No.

        Capacity

        Ignition power supply

    Is the fuse blown (open)?

    YES >>

    Repair the blown (open) fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown (open).

    NO >>

    GO TO 2.

  2. CHECK MAIN POWER WINDOW AND DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH POWER SUPPLY

      1. Disconnect main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector.

      2. Ignition switch ON.

      3. Check voltage between main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connector and ground.

    YES >>

    GO TO 7.

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW RELAY POWER SUPPLY

      1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Remove power window relay.

      3. Check voltage between fuse block (J/B) harness connector and ground.

  4. CHECK MAIN POWER WINDOW AND DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

    1. Check continuity between fuse block (J/B) harness connector and main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connector.

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT

      1. Disconnect BCM connector.

      2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and fuse block (J/B) harness connector.

    Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

    NO >>

    Replace power window relay.

  7. CHECK MAIN POWER WINDOW AND DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT

      1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Check continuity between main power window and door lock/unlock switch harness connector and ground.
