DTC DETECTION LOGIC

DTC	CONSULT screen terms (Trouble diagnosis content)	DTC detection condition
P1536	Cruise control (Cruise control)	Diagnosis condition	Ignition switch ON
		Signal	CAN communication signal
		Threshold	ECM cannot receive a communication signal sent from the body control module. Internal error of the body control module is detected.
		Diagnosis delay time	2 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Harness or connectors (The CAN communication line is open or shorted.)
Body control module

FAIL-SAFE

Not applicable

DTC Confirmation Procedure

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 3 seconds.
2. Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES >>
Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1 >>
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2 >>
Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
