Removal and Installation

Removal and Installation

CAUTION:

Use a shop cloth to protect the body from being damaged during removal and installation.

REMOVAL

Remove the front door. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove front combination lamp (LH/RH). Refer to Removal and Installation (HALOGEN HEADLAMP) or Removal and Installation (LED HEADLAMP).

Remove fender protector to fender clips. Refer to Exploded View.

Remove front fender side trim cover.

Remove cowl top side trim cover.

Remove front fender bolts.

Release front fender upper spacer from body side by cutting foam, then remove front fender.

CAUTION:

Use care when removing the front fender. The front fender upper spacer (1) adheres to the front fender and body side with foam. Carefully release the foam or front fender may be damage.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

  • After installation apply touch up paint (body color) to the head of front fender bolts.

  • After installation, adjust the following components as necessary:

    • Hood assembly: Refer to Adjustment.

    • Front door: Refer to Adjustment.
