POSSIBLE CAUSE

8CH CAN gateway

FAIL-SAFE

8CH CAN gateway stops transmitting and receiving CAN communication signals between each CAN communication circuit.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT
1. Set the power switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds or more.
2. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “8ch CAN GATEWAY” using CONSULT.
3. Check DTC.
Is DTC B2600-42 detected?
YES >>
Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1 >>
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Intermittent Incident
NO-2 >>
Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Erase DTC.
3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to Confirmation Procedure.
4. Check DTC.
Is DTC B2600-42 displayed?
YES >>
Replace 8CH CAN gateway. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO >>
INSPECTION END
