Consult Function (bcm - Common Item)

CONSULT Function (BCM - COMMON ITEM)

APPLICATION ITEM

CONSULT performs the following functions via CAN communication with BCM:

Self Diagnostic Result	Display	Display	Display	Displays non-network DTC which the BCM memorizes.
CGW Information	Display	Display	Display	Displays the current CGW mode. Enables the CGW to switch mode.
Data Monitor	Display	Display	Display	Displays the BCM input/output data in real time.
Work Support	Non-display	Non-display	Display	Changes the settings for each system function
Active Test	Non-display	Display	Display	Enables an operational check of a load by transmitting a driving signal from the BCM to the load.
ECU Identification	Display	Display	Display	Displays BCM part number.
Configuration	Display	Display	Display	The Nissan Sentra vehicle specification that is written in the BCM can be displayed or stored. The vehicle specification can be written when the BCM is replaced.
Network-DTC	Display	Display	Display	Display network DTC which the BCM memorizes when performing "Diagnosis (All System)".

CGW Information

Displays the diagnosis mode which a user can perform in Diag Test mode/Open Mode by switching the CGW status from Restricted mode to Diag Test Mode/Open Mode.

The BCM records the following Nissan Sentra vehicle conditions at the time a particular DTC is detected, and displays on CONSULT:
