Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK INPUT 1 - 6 CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect BCM connector and combination switch connector.

Check continuity between BCM harness connector and combination switch harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

GO TO 2.

NO >>

Repair harness or connectors.

CHECK INPUT 1 - 6 CIRCUIT FOR SHORT

Check for continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

GO TO 3.

NO >>

Repair harness or connectors.

CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH INPUT VOLTAGE

Connect BCM connector.
Ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.
