DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• Wheel speed sensor

• ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)

• Around view monitor control unit

FAIL-SAFE

• The around view monitor screen does not disappear even when the Nissan Sentra vehicle speed exceeds 6.2 MPH (10 km/h).

• MOD (Moving Object Detection) function is cancelled.

Confirmation Procedure

Confirmation Procedure

1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

   1. CONSULT

      1. Ignition switch ON.

      2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

      3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

      4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AVM”.

      5. Check DTC.

   Is DTC B2A0B–86 detected?

   YES >>

   Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

   NO >>

   To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

   NO >>

   Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

1. CHECK SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

   1. CONSULT

      Check if U2148–87 is detected with B2A0B–86 in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AVM”.

   Is U2148–87 detected?

   YES >>

   Perform diagnosis of U2148–87. Refer to DTC Description.

   NO >>

   GO TO 2.

2. CHECK ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT) SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

   1. CONSULT

      1. Ignition switch ON.

      2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

      3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

      4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “ABS”.

      5. Check DTC.

   Are any DTCs detected?

   YES >>

   Perform diagnosis on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Index.

   NO >>

   Replace around view monitor control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
