DTC DETECTION LOGIC

B1317–11		[GND-SHORT]	Diagnosis condition	When ignition switch is ON.
			Signal (terminal)	Satellite antenna signal between AV control unit and satellite antenna (terminal 69)

			Diagnosis delay time	30 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Satellite antenna disconnected
Harness or connector (Satellite antenna signal circuit is open or short to ground)
Satellite antenna
AV Control unit

FAIL-SAFE

No satellite radio reception

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1. CONSULT
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.
  3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.
  4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “MULTI AV”.
  5. Check DTC.
Is DTC B1317 detected?
YES>>
Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>
Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

CHECK SATELLITE ANTENNA CONNECTOR
1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.
  2. Visually check satellite antenna and antenna feeder.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >>
GO TO 2.
NO >>
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK SATELLITE ANTENNA CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

Ignition switch to OFF.
Disconnect AV control unit connector and satellite antenna connector.

Check continuity between AV control unit connector and satellite antenna connector.

Check continuity between AV control unit connector and ground.

YES >>

GO TO 3.

NO >>

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK AV CONTROL UNIT VOLTAGE

Connect AV control unit connector.
Ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between AV control unit connector and ground.

Replace satellite antenna. Refer to Removal and Installation.
