Description
Perform the following operations when replacing ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit). For details, refer to Work Procedure.
AFTER REPLACEMENT
After replacing the ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit), the following items must be performed:
ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) programming
ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) configuration
Air bleeding of brake fluid
Adjust the neutral position of steering angle sensor
Calibration of the decel G sensor
Work Procedure
After replacing ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)
PERFORM NECESSARY WORK
Perform configuration. Refer to Work Procedure.
Note:
If this is a new/blank module, the ABS Actuator and electric unit will need to be programmed prior to configuration.
Perform air bleeding. Refer to Bleeding Brake System.
Perform adjustment of steering angle sensor neutral position. Refer to Work Procedure.
Perform calibration of decel G sensor. Refer to Work Procedure.
Select self-diagnosis for “All DTC Reading”.
Erase the memory of self-diagnosis results.
