Component Function Check

1.CHECK VDC OFF INDICATOR LAMP FUNCTION

Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns ON for approximately 2 seconds after ignition switch is turned ON.

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Inspection End.

NO >> Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to BRC-96, "Diagnosis Procedure".

Diagnosis Procedure

1.PERFORM THE SELF-DIAGNOSIS

Perform self diagnostic result. With CONSULT.


Perform self diagnostic result.

Are any DTCs detected? YES >> Refer to BRC-43, "DTC Index".

NO >> GO TO 2.

2.CHECK COMBINATION METER

Check if indication and operation of combination meter are normal. Refer to MWI-8, "METER SYSTEM : System Description".

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Replace ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit). Refer to BRC-110, "Removal and Installation".

NO >> Replace combination meter. Refer to MWI-77, "Removal and Installation".
