DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PRECONDITIONING
TESTING CONDITION:
Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is 11 V or more with ignition switch ON.
>> GO TO 2.
2.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE-1
CAUTION:
Never start engine during this procedure.
Is 1st trip DTC detected? YES >> Proceed to EC-349, "Diagnosis Procedure".
NO >> GO TO 3.
3.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE-2
Is 1st trip DTC detected? YES >> Proceed to EC-349, "Diagnosis Procedure".
NO >> INSPECTION END
Diagnosis Procedure
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
Is the 1st trip DTC P0606 displayed again? YES >> Replace ECM. Refer to EC-485, "Removal and Installation".
NO >> INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure
1.CHECK CONNECTOR
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Check the terminals and connectors of the ECM for damage, bend and loose
connection (unit side and
connector side).
Is the inspection result normal?
