The Signal Tech II Tool [– (NI-50190)] can be used to perform the following functions: Refer to the Signal Tech II User Guide for additional information.
Activate and display TPMS sensor IDs
Display tire pressure reported by the TPMS sensor
Read TPMS DTCs
Register TPMS sensor IDs
TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID REGISTRATION
Perform tire pressure sensor ID registration. Refer to Work Procedure.
Is tire pressure sensor ID registration completed?
YES >>GO TO 2.
NO >>Replace front left tire pressure sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation.
CHECK TIRE PRESSURE
Check the tire pressure of all wheels. Refer to Tire Air Pressure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >>Perform “DTC Confirmation Procedure” (Self Diagnostic Result) again. Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure.
NO >>GO TO 3.
CHECK TIRE PRESSURE SIGNAL
CONSULT
Adjust tire pressure for all wheels to the specified value. Refer to Tire Air Pressure.
Note:
If the checked value is close to the standard, reduce the tire pressure, and then with the ignition switch ON, adjust the tire pressure again so that it is within the standard.
Select "AIR PRESS FL" in "Data Monitor" mode of "BCM(AIR PRESSURE MONITOR)".
Check that the front left tire pressures match the standard value. Refer to Values on the Diagnosis Tool.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >>After erasing DTC record, Inspection End.
NO >>Replace front left tire pressure sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation.
