Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK MOONROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY INPUT SIGNAL

Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect moonroof switch assembly connector.
Ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between moonroof switch assembly harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

GO TO 3.

NO >>

GO TO 2.

CHECK MOONROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect moonroof motor assembly connector.

Check continuity between moonroof motor assembly harness connector and moonroof switch assembly harness connector.

Check continuity between moonroof switch assembly harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

Replace moonroof motor assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO >>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK MOONROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY GROUND CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.

Check continuity between moonroof switch assembly harness connector and ground.

Moonroof switch assembly		—	Continuity

R27	10	Ground	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES >>

GO TO 4.

NO >>

Repair or replace the harness.

CHECK MOONROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY
1. Check moonroof switch assembly.
  
  Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >>
Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO >>
Replace moonroof switch assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.
