Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK CUSHION HEATER LH

    1. Check cushion heater LH.

      Refer to Component Function Check.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 2.

    NO>>

    Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

  2. CHECK SEAT HEATER LH (BACK) POWER SUPPLY

      1. Disconnect seat heater LH (back) connector.

      2. Ignition switch ON.

      3. Check voltage between seat heater LH (back) harness connector and ground.

        With power seat

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 4.

    NO (with power seat)>>

    GO TO 3.

    NO (with manual seat)>>

    Replace front seat heater LH. Refer to Exploded View.

  3. CHECK SEAT HEATER LH (BACK) CIRCUIT

      1. Turn heated seat switch OFF.

      2. Ignition switch OFF.

      3. Disconnect front seat cushion heater LH connector.

      4. Check continuity between seat heater LH (back) harness connector and front seat cushion heater LH harness connector.

      5. Check continuity between seat heater LH (back) harness connector and ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    Replace front seat cushion heater LH. Refer to Exploded View.

    NO>>

    Repair or replace harness.

  4. CHECK SEAT HEATER LH (BACK) GROUND CIRCUIT

      1. Turn heated seat switch OFF.

      2. Ignition switch OFF.

      3. Check continuity between seat heater LH (back) harness connector and ground.

        With power seat

    Replace seat heater LH (back). Refer to Exploded View.

    Repair or replace harness.
