Diagnosis condition

  • When engine is running

  • When AEB system is ON

Signal (terminal)

Threshold

Temperature around front camera unit is excessively high

Diagnosis delay time

1 second or less

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Interior room temperature is excessively high

FAIL-SAFE

The following systems are canceled.

  • AEB

  • LDW

  • TSR

  • I-FCW

Confirmation Procedure

Confirmation Procedure

  1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

    1. Start the engine.

    2. Turn the AEB system ON.

    3. Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.

    4. Check if the “C1F6B-4B” is detected as the current malfunction in self-diagnosis results of “ICC/ADAS 2”.

    Is “C1F6B-4B” detected as the current malfunction?

    YES >>

    DTC Diagnosis Procedure

    NO-1 >>

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: Intermittent Incident

    NO-2 >>

    Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

  1. CHECK FRONT CAMERA UNIT SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS

    Check if any DTC is detected in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “LANE CAMERA”.

    Is applicable DTC detected?

    YES >>

    Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC Index.

    NO >>

    GO TO 2 .

  2. CHECK ADAS CONTROL UNIT 2 SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS

    1. Erase all self-diagnosis results with CONSULT.

    2. Perform “All DTC Reading”.

    3. Check if the “C1F6B-4B” is detected in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “ICC/ADAS 2”

    Is “C1F6B-4B” detected?

    YES >>

    Replace the ADAS control unit 2. Removal and Installation

    NO >>

    INSPECTION END
