DTC DETECTION LOGIC

		Signal (terminal)	TEL antenna signal
		Threshold	Short to ground
		Diagnosis delay time	1 second or more
B2E34-12		Diagnosis condition	When ignition switch is ON
		Signal (terminal)	TEL antenna signal
		Threshold	Short to battery
		Diagnosis delay time	1 second or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• 13: TEL antenna signal circuit is open

• 11: TEL antenna signal circuit is short to ground

• 12: TEL antenna signal circuit is short to battery

• TEL antenna

FAIL-SAFE

Telematics can not send and receive via network

Confirmation Procedure

Confirmation Procedure

1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

   1. CONSULT

      1. Ignition switch ON.

      2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

      3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

      4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “IVC”.

      5. Check DTC.

   Is DTC B2E34 detected?

   YES>>

   Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

   NO>>

   To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

   NO>>

   Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

Dtc Diagnosis Procedure

DTC Diagnosis Procedure

1. DETERMINE MALFUNCTION TYPE

   1. CONSULT

      1. Ignition switch ON.

      2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

      3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

      4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “IVC”.

      5. Check DTC.

   Is DTC B2E34–11, 12 or 13 detected?

   YES>>

   13 – GO TO 2.

   YES>>

   11 – GO TO 3.

   YES>>

   12 – GO TO 4.

   NO>>

   Refer to Intermittent Incident.

2. CHECK TEL ANTENNA HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Check the TEL antenna connector connection condition and the harness for damage.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   Replace TCU. Refer to Removal and Installation.

   NO >>

   Replace telematics antenna. Refer to Removal and Installation.

3. CHECK TEL ANTENNA SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect TCU connector.

      3. Check the continuity between TCU connector and ground.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   Replace TCU. Refer to Removal and Installation.

   NO >>

   Replace telematics antenna. Refer to Removal and Installation.

4. CHECK TEL ANTENNA SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER SUPPLY

   1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.

      2. Disconnect TCU connector.

      3. Ignition switch ON.

      4. Check the voltage between TCU connector and ground.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES >>

   Replace TCU. Refer to Removal and Installation.

   NO >>

   Replace telematics antenna. Refer to Removal and Installation.
