1. Check front wiper lo operation
Ipdm e/r auto active test
Consult active test
Lo : front wiper lo operation
Off : stop the front wiper.
Is the inspection result normal? Yes >> front wiper motor lo circuit is normal.
No >> refer to ww-37, "diagnosis procedure".
Diagnosis procedure
Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to WW-24, "Wiring Diagram - With Intelligent Key" or WW-29, "Wiring Diagram - Without Intelligent Key".
1. Check front wiper motor (lo) input voltage
Consult active test
Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to PCS-30, "Removal and Installation" (with Intelligent Key system) or PCS-58, "Removal and Installation" (without Intelligent Key system).
2. Check front wiper motor (lo) open circuit
Is the inspection result normal?
Yes >> go to 3.
No >> repair or replace the harness or connectors.
3. Check front wiper motor (lo) short circuit
Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector E45 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal? YES >> Repair or replace the harness or connectors.
NO >> Replace front wiper motor. Refer to WW-62, "Removal and Installation".

Operation
Depress the brake pedal several times at five second intervals with
the engine stopped. Start the engine with the brake pedal fully
depressed. Check that the clearance between brake pedal and dash
lower panel decreases.
