Nissan Sentra Service Manual: Front passenger side power window does not operate

When both power window main switch and front power window switch are operated

WHEN BOTH POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH AND FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH ARE OPERATED : Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE)

Check front power window switch (passenger side).

Refer to PWC-37, "FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH : Diagnosis Procedure".

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 2.

NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

2.CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE)

Check front power window motor (passenger side).

Refer to PWC-45, "PASSENGER SIDE : Diagnosis Procedure".

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 3.

NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

3.REPLACE POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH

Is the result normal? YES >> INSPECTION END

NO >> Check intermittent incident. Refer to GI-39, "Intermittent Incident".

When front power window switch (passenger side) is operated

WHEN FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) IS OPERATED : Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

Check front power window switch (passenger side) power supply and ground circuit.

Refer to PWC-37, "FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH : Diagnosis Procedure".

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 2.

NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

2.CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE)

Check front power window switch (passenger side).

Refer to PWC-37, "FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH : Diagnosis Procedure".

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 3.

NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

3.REPLACE POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH

Is the result normal? YES >> INSPECTION END

NO >> Check intermittent incident. Refer to GI-39, "Intermittent Incident".

When power window main switch is operated

When power window main switch is operated : diagnosis procedure

1.CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE)

Check front power window switch (passenger side).

Refer to PWC-37, "FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH : Diagnosis Procedure".

Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 2.

NO >> Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

2.REPLACE POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH

Is the result normal? YES >> INSPECTION END

NO >> Check intermittent incident. Refer to GI-39, "Intermittent Incident".
