Removal and Installation
Removal
- Remove the instrument finisher D. Refer to IP-14, "Exploded View".
- Using suitable tool (a) release the pawls and remove the door mirror remote control switch (2) from the switch bracket (1).

Diagnosis procedure
1.Check connector
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Check the terminals and connectors of the BCM for damage, bend and loose
connection (unit side and
connector side).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES > ...

Component Function Check
1.CHECK VDC OFF SWITCH OPERATION
Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns
ON/OFF when VDC OFF switch is operated.

Telescopic operation
Pull the lock lever down 1 and adjust the steering
wheel forward or backward 3 to the desired
