Inspection
COMPONENT PART
Check the mounting conditions (looseness, backlash) of each component. Verify the component conditions (wear, damage) are normal.
SHOCK ABSORBER
Check the shock absorber for oil leaks or damage. Replace the components if necessary.

Measure the wheel alignment under unladen conditions.
NOTE:
“Unladen conditions” means that fuel, engine coolant, and lubricants are

Diagnosis procedure
1.Check connector
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Check the terminals and connectors of the bcm for damage, bend and loose
connection (unit side and
connector side).
Is the inspection result normal?

Changing wheels and tires
Tire rotation
NISSAN recommends rotating the tires
every 7,500 miles (12,000 km).
See “Flat tire” in the “In case of emergency”
section of this manual for tire replacing
procedures.
