    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF to ON.

      CAUTION:

    2. Perform self-diagnosis for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.

    Is DTC “C1B80-54” detected?

    YES >>

    Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

    NO-1 >>

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

    NO-2 >>

    Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

    2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.

    4. Perform self-diagnosis for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.

    Is DTC “C1B80-54” detected?

    YES >>

    Perform programming. Refer to Work Procedure.

    NO >>

    NO-1 >>

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

    NO-2 >>

    Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

    Perform self-diagnosis for “ABS”.

    Is DTC detected?

    YES >>

    Check the DTC. Refer to DTC Index.

    NO >>

    GO TO 2.

  2. ERASE SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULT

    With CONSULT

    1. Erase self-diagnosis result for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.

    2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.

  1. CHECK CONNECTOR

    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

    2. Disconnect the chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) harness connector.

    3. Check the connector for disconnection or looseness.

    4. Check the terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    GO TO 2.

    NO >>

    Repair/replace harness or connector. securely lock the harness connector. GO TO 2.

  2. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS (1)

    With CONSULT

    1. Connect the chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) harness connector.

    2. Erase self-diagnosis result for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.

    3. Turn the ignition switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.

    4. Turn the ignition switch ON.

    5. Perform self-diagnosis for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.

    Is DTC “C1BB5-1C” detected?

    YES >>

    GO TO 3.

    NO >>

    INSPECTION END

  3. CHECK CHASSIS CONTROL MODULE (WITH BUILT IN STEERING ANGLE SENSOR) IGNITION POWER SUPPLY

    Check the chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) ignition power supply. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    GO TO 4.

    NO >>

    Repair/replace harness, connector, terminal or fuse.

  4. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS (2)

    With CONSULT

    1. Connect the chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) harness connector.

    2. Erase self-diagnosis result for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.

    3. Turn the ignition switch OFF and wait for 10 seconds or more.

    4. Turn the ignition switch ON.

    5. Perform self-diagnosis for “CHASSIS CONTROL”.

    Is DTC “C1BB5-1C” detected?

    YES >>

    Replace the chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor). Refer to Removal and Installation.

    NO >>

    INSPECTION END

    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

    2. Disconnect the chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) harness connector.

    3. Check the voltage between chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) harness connector and ground.

  2. CHECK CHASSIS CONTROL MODULE (WITH BUILT IN STEERING ANGLE SENSOR) IGNITION POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

    2. Check the 10A fuse (#50).

    3. Check the continuity and for short circuit between chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) harness connector terminal (8) and 10A fuse (#50).

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES >>

    Perform trouble diagnosis for ignition power supply.

    NO >>

    Repair/replace harness, connector or fuse.

  3. CHECK CHASSIS CONTROL MODULE (WITH BUILT IN STEERING ANGLE SENSOR) SIGNAL GROUND CIRCUIT

    Check the continuity between chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) harness connector and the ground.
