Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
If replacing chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor), perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING CHASSIS CONTROL MODULE (WITH BUILT IN STEERING ANGLE SENSOR)". Refer to Description.
REMOVAL
Remove spiral cable assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Disconnect
harness connector from chassis control module [with built in
steering angle sensor (1)]. 
Remove screws (A) and remove chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor).
CAUTION:
Do not drop chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor).
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
If replacing chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor), perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING CHASSIS CONTROL MODULE (WITH BUILT IN STEERING ANGLE SENSOR)". Refer to Description.

Diagnosis procedure
1.Check connector
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Check the terminals and connectors of the BCM for damage, bend and loose
connection (unit side and
connector side).
Is the inspection result normal?
